Color Collective was created by Lauren Wager in January 2010 as an online color resource for designers. The color palettes are based on the work of various designers, artists, and photographers that Lauren is inspired by. Color Collective has been seen on top blogs such as Design*Sponge, Refinery29, Apartment Therapy, Design for Mankind, Smashing Magazine and The Huffington Post. Lauren’s blog has also been featured in five issues of Lucky Magazine, and Joy Cho’s second book, Blog, Inc.

Lauren previously worked as a Color Designer and Social Media Designer at the home office of Bath & Body Works. She lives in Columbus, Ohio where she enjoys spending time with her family, collecting rocks, reading, finding the best coffee, and searching for color combinations in unexpected places. Her books, Palette Perfect Vol 1 & 2, are based off Color Collective and were published by Hoaki Books in Spring 2018 and August 2022. Lauren’s new book, Fashion Palettes, is set to release in April 2024.
